Cool and windy usually means Wrigley plays like Petco. Maybe that's to the Reds advantage since the pitching has been excellent and the hitting has been crap. :dunno:

Well we RZ gms did our part, on the “what moves are you making tomorrow” thread we called them to task, sliced and diced some, sent some down, traded some and then kicked the rest to the curb, I look for the players that got blasted the most to perform well this series. :)

Never like to see when a guy ditches the girl he brought to the dance.

Votto made his way up the Reds farm food chain by getting on base via the walk and a good AVG. So far in 2008, he's had the power of Norris Hopper, and the plate patience and discipline of Brandon Phillips.... actually, worse. Phillips has actually walked in 2008. Votto? Not so much. Almost 30 ABs and counting. No walks.

Hopefully Votto will return to his game that helped propel him through the minors. Aka, take some walks, Joey.

I'm Pro-Dunn, so I'd much rather see him continue the 40 HR, 100 RBI, 100 BB, 100 R, and not give two craps about any brand of D he choose to play or not play.

Patterson is much needed for this ballclub, b/c defensively we're horrible, but we have to pick and choose where to be defensively horrible. Being defensively horrible in LF is a much easier pill to swallow than being defensively horrible in CF. It's a tradeoff. I'm happy we have Patterson in CF, but I'm not happy with him continuing to leadoff. But that's what we get with The Dusty.
