I think I added this up right. In his last 34 innings pitched, he's only given up 7 earned runs. Nice.

It appears Arroyo has gotten back on track. It's fun to watch him win games again.

Yeah, if Cueto can keep the Reds in games and Walt can get rid of Belisle and Find a sitable replacement... Watch out... The offense has new life with the 1st and 2nd hitter getting on base... The 1-2 hole was on base 6 times in tonights game!

Couldn't do that with Patterson in there... No way!

Arroyo has been pitching very well lately. Key has been throwing strike one to set up his breaking balls. Fastball has been consistent all year he's just needed to get his breaking stuff over. Alot more strikeouts this year than in years past. He's been very good when we've needed him to go on 3 days rest.

Another good call by Dusty saying that he (Dusty) "thought Arroyo may be hurt."

I like Arroyo, good to see him regaining his form. Methinks he's a better warm-weather pitcher. Also, he for some reason doesn't pitch well during the day; the numbers are pretty consistent.

Again, when the best way to get the most out of a player is to know how to utilize him the best, you can't expect Dusty Baker to be the one to figure that out.

If Cueto can continue to improve, the Reds might actually have the best group of 1 thru 4 starting pitchers in the NL before it's all said and done.

I keep looking for another pitcher they could trade for, but nothing makes sense.
