It's one thing to be really excited about how Bruce has hit since his call up, but to compare the first 6 big league games to the all around career of Ted Williams is a little much. Don't get me wrong, i love what Bruce has brought to the table and the energy spark his play has brought the team as a whole. Just don't compare the hot start of a rookie to a Hall of Famer 6 games into his career.

Even if he's not the best hitter ever, which is entirely possible, he's in the top three. In no way, shape, or form is Williams overrated.

No offense, but do you know anything about the history of Baseball? Many people consider Williams to be one of the top 5 Outfielders to ever play the game.

What kind of overhype did Ted get? That he was a .344 lifetime hitter, 1,839 RBI's, 521 HR's...and he lost many of his prime years while in the Military.

C'mon JB32, Bruce has had a good first couple of weeks...let's leave it at that.
