I don't know how anyone can watch Arroyo pitch this season and think he's the same pitcher.

Screw the numbers (or the numbers which try to say what he *should* be doing) and watch his stuff. Yuck.

I shut Marty off listening to that last inning as I was driving back from Chipotle.

I don't know how Casty can consider it good for business when you've got a radio announcer bagging on the ballclub -- especially on an injured player like Encarnacion -- when you're trying to sell tickets for an upcoming weekend series.

BTW -- who ever designed this "cowbell" promotion for Florida should be shot.

I gotta be honest...I have been very impressed with Bruce at the plate, but I have not been all that impressed with Bruce in the field. He seems very average out there, and I have not seen this "cannon" that he is supposed to have. It seems like he has an average to slightly above average arm, at best. I wouldn't be surprised if he is eventually penciled in as Dunn's replacement in LF, rather than Griffey's replacement in RF.

Olson is no where near as good as his ERA. I think he same a BB/k ratio of 33/36.

Speaking of cowbells...I don't remember if it was Utah or Sacramento but in one of those NBA arenas the homer fans would sit behind the visiting bench and just wail on these ginormous cowbells during timeouts. You want to talk about bush league?

Truth, but I don't have many problems with the pitching (this year). It's the anemic offense that worries me. Throw any lefthander out there (and I mean any) and you get nothing out of this team.

You just knew that run was going to score because every time the Reds make an error the run scores.

Huge turn around. The Reds went from having runners on 2nd and 3rd and only one out with the 2/3/4 hitters up to now losing 5-4 thanks to an error.

Actually they don't. If you look at the total LOB in the box score, it's what a team does.

But for individuals, it would be 18 for an inning for both teams.
