But i think its relavent convo for tonights game and the reason the reds are so incosistent and losing.


The cubs were on ESPN last night. They've lost the last 2 against the dodgers on the west coast.

Zambrono was just taken out of the game. Its a 3-1 game in the 7th.

A relief pitcher is on the mound and gets out of jam 1st and 2nd 2 outs with a ground ball.
After the ground ball ESPN showed the cubs dugout. Every player was lined up on the fence hooting and hollering over the play. ZAMBRONO was pumping his fist!

Even though ive trained myself to hate the cubs. I was really jealous of cubs fans at that moment.

Its called ENTHUSIASM. ITS CALLED CARING. ITS CALLED HUSSLE. ITS CALLED "WANT". who wants it more.

Right now the cubs want it more than anybody in the league. The reds "WANT" level is microscopical.

Its pathetic. I put the blame on management of all levels, and i put the blame on team leaders. And the fact that this team HAS NO CAPTAIN> NO LEADER.

B-phillips is not the man for that job.
Dunn is not the man

griffey is supposed to be that man. But with his lack of hussle he's very poorly qualified.



This is why its so aggravating for me to be a reds fan. It all comes back to enthusaism, to care... I constantly think everyone in the reds organization is just going through the motions.

Aside from a few newcomers of course.^

I have a feeling that the "hot" Corey Patterson will be in the lineup thanks to his meaningless homer in a 9-2 loss. So yeah, I'm with you.
