X-rays were negative according to the broadcasters of the game and he's sitting on the bench so hopefully it's not too bad.

He doesn't appear too upset (they showed him once in the dugout after he was taken out of the game and he seemed all right) so he's probably day to day right now. I assume it's just a bruised hand/bone/finger and he'll feel better soon. He may want to get back to a game sooner if Joey hits another HR and takes the HR lead for the rookies again, LOL ;)

Bruce was healthy enough to stand in the infield with Adam Rosales and high five all of the Reds Heads kids running the bases after today's game. And they weren't just standing there watching the clock, Bruce and Rosales were smiling and having fun. My daughter got to slap hands with them and she said it was very cool.

It was a great sight.

I read today that Jay said he was fine but Dusty wanted him to rest one more day just to be sure. I bet Jay is back out there tomorrow for the makeup game. I'm glad he's all right!
