I hope Jr does well this year, he looks really happy in those pictures. Does it make any one else angry that he waits until he leaves Cincinnati to lose some weight? It looks like he lost 20lbs in those pictures.

I am going to Detroit for the Tigers/Mariners series--should be a blast. I am so happy for Jr. and the Seattle fans.

I was going to say it looks like he's sporting a boiler myself... lost 20 lbs? What was he, 240?

he is a fat old unproductive crook. Who cares about jr? I want him to be embarrassed this year. Seattle fans will hate him too, once it is June 1st, nd Jr has 2 homers, a .308 OBP and is hitting .238

He still looks fat to me.

That's not thin guys. He's only 39. He should be in better shape than that.

I wish him the best though. I wish his stay in Cincinnati was a better one. He never seemed that happy with us.

Worthless post. Good luck Jr. One of the greats.

Was half asleep and heard Mike Golic (mike&mike) ripping into Jr, anyone catch that. Also, someone asked Jr a steroid question at the press conference and his handlers told him not to answer. Strange.

It's good for Junior. There won't be any expectations for greatness or anything and the M's fans will be glad just to see him. Also, compared to their other offensive weapons, he'll look good in comparison.

I'm not complaining, I'm happy for him that he went to Seattle and that he got a great contract...but why in the hell would he not choose the Braves? They have a much better chance at winning than the M's and he would have gotten what was supposedly the most important thing to him, being closer to his family in Orlando.

What does that tell you?

What does that tell you? That tells me that he's tired of the boos that he got as a RED, and the fact that the White Sox just thought of him as who he is....a washed up outfielder defensively, who needs to bat in the bottom of the order. It's likely that the Braves would only use him part-time, but the Mariners would play him a lot more often. He'd be a liability to the Braves, but an asset to the Mariners, and be praised more by the M's fans, and booed more by the Braves fans, those few that show up to the Braves games, that is. He'll have a good time in Seattle. They love having him back.

Can't really blame Reds fans for booing him. He was one of the biggest letdowns in Reds history. His lazy play also contributed to some of the booing.
