Left or center, I don't care one way or the other. Just so long as Dickerson is in the lineup everyday. If one of the other guys beats out Taveras ... so be it.

Dickerson and Gomes platoon would work great... IF Gonzo isn't totally healthy just let Hairston play SS...I think we'd get a lot of production with Dickerson vs RHP and Gomes vs LHP.

IF Gonzo is healthy use Hariston with Dickerson in the platoon and move Gomes to pinch-hitting...

I agree completely. But what happens if Taveras struggles? Who moves into CF? Scrap the platoon? Or one of the other LF options moves into center?

If Taveras struggles mainly against righties, I wouldn't mind a Dickerson/Taveras paltoon in CF with Jones/Gomes in CF. If Taveras struggles for long against both sides, I'd be all for Dickerson/Stubbs in CF and Dorn/Gomes in LF - maybe even Dorn/Frazier in LF and Valaika @ SS by the all-star break or trade deadline.

Youth Movement!!!

Nice, redsmetz. Very appropriate for yesterday's game.

Just out of curiosity, how old is your daughter? That's a very good use of color and it looks quite good.

She's 25 and has a freelance illustration website. It's her intention to be a freelance illustrator. She's presently had one professional illustration in a national magazine and continues to send out mailings to art directors a few times a year.

That's a great illustration. By the way, I knew a Ryan Metz at Roger Bacon. We pitched on the same little league team together. Any relation?
