Thank you for registering for the opportunity to purchase Opening Day tickets in February. The Reds are offering an additional opportunity to purchase the April 6, 2009 Opening Day tickets as part of its promotion of the Civil Rights Game weekend (June 19, 20 and 21).

Because you registered for the initial Reds 2009 Opening Day drawing you have the opportunity to purchase up to four (4) tickets for the Reds 2009 Opening Day if you purchase an equal number of tickets in the same seating category to one game over the Civil Rights Game weekend, June 19-21 against the Chicago White Sox.

For two seats in the upper deck, directly behind home plate...the total to buy for Opening Day AND one game to the White Sox series is about $105.

If you think about it, that's only $50 each to attend Opening Day. That is MUCH MUCH cheaper than you will find on ebay or from a scalper, etc.

Besides, you can use the tickets for an additional game as well.

You better hurry!!!!

I got a pair last night as well when I got the email. Now I have to decide if I want to see in the 500 section along 1st or in a lower row out in the LF bleachers. The other pair I will get rid of.

I bought 4 sets of tickets. I normally would be working for my MLB.com job, but I take off every year for Opening Day. THe tickets I got are for friends and family. Even as an MLB employee, I don't get the hookup for Opening Day.

you won't be able to see the new scoreboard if you sit in the bleachers, but they are a much better price and a decent view. I've never sat out there when it was a full house, i imagine you could be crammed in there pretty tight.

I'm really happy with this. Just being in the door opening day is enough to get me excited.

I get an error every time I try. Says they're not available. Think the package is already sold out?

I bought 2 tickets of Ebay to Opening Day and 2 tickets to the Civil Rights game for a total of 100 dollars. The seats are in 531 but they are row C. I think I got a solid deal.

You did get a solid deal because for those tickets, with tax and fees...the price is $105.61.

Has anyone ever sat in the bleachers under the scoreboard? Are they pretty strict in enforcing the seating? Me and buddy bought tixs but we're a couple sections away from each other and I wanted to know if they would care if we sat next each other? I know they are just bleachers and not individual seats so how does that work.

This really depends on the game. I've sat there numerous times during the weekday games just because there cheap. Naturally those games are never crowded anyway. For a big series or something like opening day I imagine its a whole different story.

They have seat numbers on the bleachers, and for opening day if the weather is nice you will be crammed in. There are plenty of places to stand though if you guys want to hang out together.

They are "actual seats", regardless of the term "bleachers". On Opening Day, chances are you won't be able to move outside of your assigned area. On any other game (unless the game is a sell out...and let's hope for lots of those), you can move around freely.

The best deal I found on ebay were 2 tickets for $100. I've been looking at tickets for a while and this was by far the best deals I could find. No way they'll last at the bidding at $90 so I went ahead and purchased 2 for OD.

FWIW, this guy is giving out the same deal to others.
