Did Marty just call Miguel Cabrera an "old player?

redsfan30
04-02-2009, 01:24 PM
Even though Cabrera is young, it seems like he's been around since World War II. Easy slip up to make.

I think we're going to have to get used to the idea that Volquez isn't incredibly pitch efficient. That means he, like Harang, is probably going to have a lot of games in the 100-120 pitch count range.

Yup. And, to underscore for those who are not listening to it, it is NOT that marty is simply pointing out he is not sharp with his control today, it is to a degree of complaning that has the listener wondering if his arm is falling off...

Its no secret that Edinson needs to work on his pitch counts. He has way to many 3-2 counts.

While Marty is apparantly in mid season form, I'm also trying this out as a public service announcement the first time Edinson goes to pitch 110 and the cries of PITCHER ABUSE, DUSTY HATES EDINSON, and EDINSON'S ARM IS GOING TO TEAR IN TWO-GROW A MUTANT BABY ARM THAT WILL THAN EAT HIM BECAUSE HE THREW 120 PITCHES.
