I feel like I wasted my whole day off (Good Friday) waiting for 7:00 to roll around to see how this team would play tonight with the Pirates in town and Karstens on the mound. I thought about Cueto going 7 strong all day and us evening our record at 2-2. Then I heard it might be delayed, and before I know it; its postponed entirely!

So now I'm left with nothing to do..... maybe I should clean the restroom and shower...... it will be a full 48 hours + that we've gone without Reds baseball again by first pitch tomorrow! Arrrrgggh! :thumbdown

I know the feeling.I too have been waiting all day.Season finale of Terminator that I'm about to watch helps ease the pain.

Save the tickets they serve as a "rain check" for the game and you can go to any home game provided its not a sell out with those tickets..... just see the Reds tickets office before the game you would like to go to. Not a bad deal

Thanks. Will I be able to get my same seats. I have really good seats 5 rows behind home plate. Can I use them for tomorrows game and sit in the same seats.

You'll be sitting in the same seats or they will move you to somewhere of similar value

So no double-dip tomorrow?

Wife and I went and saw "I Love You, Man" when the postponement was announced. It was a lot more of a romantic comedy than the commercials made it appear to be.

I'm pretty annoyed too, me and 4 of my buddies went to the game tonight. Wouldn't be that bad, but we live 2 1/2 hours away, and made the trip, just to drive 2 1/2 hours straight back with no baseball. Definitely stinks, but hopefully they can pick up a win tomorrow.

I love Seattle's retractable roof! Worth seeing if you ever get the chance. (Of course, they need it)!!

More bad luck for the Reds this year. Instead of facing Karstens (who they would've likely put up some runs against) Pittsburgh has decided to now skip his turn and they'll face Maholm on Sat. All of a sudden I'm just thinking 1 of 2 instead of 2 of 3.

I see you're point, but if we can't beat combinations like maholm and pittsburgh, it's really not going to matter in the scheme of things anyway, lol.

EdE tears up Maholm if I recall correctly.

True. Plus, if Cueto is on, it won't matter who goes for Pittsburgh.

agreed. Pittsburgh is still an overwhelming underdog for some reason.

I have always maintained that all stadiums built beyond 2000 should have retractable roofs. I have also been to a rain out. Plus, you have the beyond 90 degree weather in the summer. Plus, the post season goes into November (no jokes please). You could have concerts, the World Baseball Classic etc.

I've been in the same boat before. It's a b!tch. You get all geared up to go to the ballpark, plan your entire day around, it, spend the money on gas/food, etc, only to have it rained out. It's very disappointing.

Exactly, this should be mandatory on new stadiums. The end of rain outs as we know it.

Cowboy even commented how nice it was to have the Brewers home roof closed tonight.
