Will someone start beating the Cardinals so we have a chance at the wildcard? How do they do it? How do the Cardinals manage to win year after year when they seemingly don't have the players? I know they have Albert and a couple outfielders with pop. But their offense isn't that good and their pitching isn't good. They have a weak bullpen.

They're depending on Carpenter with a surgically repaired arm - can he really return to what he was before?
Lohse? - Is he really this consistently good now?
Wainwright - ok he's pretty solid
Pinero?

Hopefully they're just hot right now and not the real deal. What's everyone's take on the Cardinals staying power?

Their lineup is worlds better than the Reds.

I think whats going on with the Cards is that they have been lucky enough to not have had to play the Reds.

Seriously though St Louis looks good so far but so do most of the teams in the central.I think its going to be a very close division this season.

I think their offense is better, but their pitching isn't.
