So the weather will be beautiful, it's a fireworks night, it's not a school night, the Reds just finished a 7-3 road trip and are over .500, so there is really no excuse not to have a big crowd tonight.

Last season on Friday April 18th, the Reds had returned from a road trip to play the Brewers and drew 32,629, despite a 7-10 record at the time. (Don't know what promotion was going on, if any.) They drew 26,410 and 26,902 on Saturday and Sunday.

I will guess the crowds will be around 32k, 29k and 30k for the weekend.

I'm actually considering calling my wife and telling her to grab the kid and meet me downtown after work for the game.

depends, whose the bobblegiveaway, or is it stadium blanket night? Otherwise, not sure we see much differnece in fans, even with team winning. Prove me wrong, please!!!!

I'll guess 33,747. I think the good start and beautiful weather will bring out the fans.

Fri is team picture night. Sat is fleece blanket night. All the games this weekend had/have a lower level ticket deal with field level seats for $20 plus a free hat. My sister is taking me and my dad. :)

The family and I are heading down.

The Reds will find me quite supportive financially when they give me something interesting to watch.

And quite the opposite when they don't, as evidence by the last Reds game I attended. Opening Day. 2 years ago.

I believe it is team picture night and tomorrow is blanket day (in 80 degree weather!).

There will be plenty of displaced Braves jerseys at the game tonight. I'm guessing 32,334

saturday and sunday have nice giveaways, so i think they will draw better than tonight, even though tonight has the best weather.

Ah, then yes, the place will be pretty full, only due to giveaways. Take away the giveaways, and I think it isnt that good, even with a team actually winning games....
edited to add, if anyone gets an extra photo, us NC guys sure would love one :)

They announced 30,060 at the game. Visually it seemed pretty full.

Pleasant night for baseball and all in all a good game to watch . . . although it was painful to see Volquez walk five batters in a row.

There was over 30K Friday night. I'm guessing 32K Saturday and Sunday. Americans still like day baseball better.

Its a shame that was the last Saturday day game for the Reds this year unless Fox picks them up for some games.

Agree with you. Those are fun for me to enjoy a saturday afternoon game on the weekend. I think if our record is decent through the summer FOX will select us for some games, especially vs. the Cubs or St. Louis who are national picks often on FOX.

It will be interesting to see how many we draw for this series against Houston during the week. I'm still hoping we somehow draw out around 30K each night. If we can continue to draw around that at home, ownership should go out and get us some help in the way of a bat if they're making some money.

That's why the first two losses against the Braves really hurt, I was there friday night and saturday and you could feel it in the air the town and fans that turned out were very excited about the team. If the Reds could have kept rolling and won 2 of 3 or swept a weaker Braves team it would have really boosted the attendance. We have to start playing better at home and drawing good crowds regularly. It's all part of a successful season.

No chance we get 30,000 a night on a monday - wednesday series. I'd say we get a max of 23,000 or so.
