That's the "offense" squad right now. One through nine, all are swinging the bat well and/or are quality hitters.

Saying that, Haren will probably now shut them out, so what do I know?

This year is night and day different. This team, so far, has actually shown a baseball IQ. They throw to the right bases, hit cut off men, and hustle. Part of it is the emphasis on speed and agressiveness, part of it is the addition of Taveras, part of it is the loss of two larger, lumbering sluggers (not to mention their HR power) in place of speedier (though less powerful) alternatives.

Refreshing to see.

I just rewound the DVR to see what I could see and right before Votto goes out on the foul ball down the line he did not make any sudden move for the ball. The last thing you see is Votto just walking around the bag and then all the sudden the camera cuts away and Dusty is out there. So maybe he is just sick.

Pure speculation by me, but the way they rushed to him and got him off the field pretty quickly without asking many questions, I'm thinking that they wanted to get a lot of fluids in him as possible. Or else they would have seen how bad his "injury" was and if he could keep going
