improbus I were talking in chat that this might be the perfect time to trade BA. (sarc alert) First the Reds survey all MLB cities where the women love a guy that rates in the top 10 listing of 'hunky' ballplayers, sings a little, has stringy blond hair, a boat in the Florida Keys and can pitch a bit.

Next, the Reds enroll him in dance lessons and use George Grande's connection to get Bronson on Dancing With The Stars.

JTM extends his singing contract and agrees to pay some of the new teams pickup of salary for access to supermarket shelf-space in his new city.

Then, the Reds trade Bronson for a SS and bring up Homer Bailey.

Only problem is, the city that best fits those demographics is Cincinnati, so we traded him to ourselves for another three years of Gonzo. :p:

2:10 that is going to surely be in the top 5 for quickest games in this day and age.

Cecil Cooper is on the top of my "next to be fired" list. The Astros were hack-o-matic, looking like they just wanted to get out of town as quickly as possible.

Bruce, boy it would be a big boost to our fortunes on the upcoming roadtrip if he was heating up. You knew when he showed the warning track power on shots this weekend that he was getting close. Let's hope he can sustain a hot streak at just the right time.

One of the things that was fun about this sweep is that after 3 batters on Monday, Berkman had struck again, Wandy Rodriguez was on the mound to own us, and Brantley and Brenneman were attempting to make a story of the Ghosts of Astros Past.

Then we dropped a five spot on Wandy, and the ghosts quickly vanished. A very fun three days of baseball.
