Lets not go there. JV is gone and I would never advocate him using up a spot on the 25 man roster.

I would actually rather have Darnell than Javier. Darnell is horrible, but Javier is even beyond that.

JV problem is that the only thing he has to offer is his bat. A couple of years ago he did ok in that role. The problem lies with having him on the bench. He provides too big of a temptation to Dusty to actually pay him in the field. Dusty can't help himself.
