Assuming we're sellers come trade deadline (and we'd be foolish to be anything but at this point), what is Aaron Harang's asking price? With each start, I'm thinking more and more that it is falling. I know the SP market is thin, but he hasnt won since May 25 and he's carrying an ERA well north of 4.00 after today's game.

I know there's a lot of interest out there. What could we get for him?

I can't imagine anything of great value, given his declining velocity. He's still out there battling, and he could help a contender somewhere on the back end of the rotation, but I think they'd have to wind up including him in some sort of larger package to get a good return.

harang is versatile, you can stick him in the outfield if you need an extra bat. come on walt, get the phones working

His salary would be the sticking point. Reds would have to agree to pay the rest of his salary which I think is $14 million, btw, which is what Roy Halladay also makes.

We can get out from under his salary, and a low level prospect or 2.
