On his way back to Cincy to see the doctor for concussion like symptoms. If he's still experiencing symptoms don't be surprised to see him on the DL. While he is out Id like to see Sutton at third please no more Rosales!

It wasnt our year even before the rolen deal

Also they said he might come back before the road trip is over.

I hope he's alright. Concussions aren't things to mess with. I remember in the thread about trading for Rolen I wrote something responding to someone who said he was injury prone, and a wrote back, how can someone be injury prone when it takes an action on the field of play to cause it. And that anyone can get injured from a collision or hit by a pitch, and it doesn't make you injury prone, it just means bad luck.

Well what do you know, I jinxed it. He gets hit in the head and hasn't been right since. And it had nothing to do with his shoulder or anything else, it just happened. I feel bad for the guy, he's seemingly past his shoulder problems and missed time at the start of the year because of a finger which was messed up during fielding practice and now a throw to the head. I hope Jason Marquis gets the same back to him.

And there were two particular plays last night Rolen would of made in his sleep that Rosales botched. We really need his glove and bat bad. Now that we realize we aren't going to see him for at least two weeks though Dusty needs to give Drew Sutton a shot! We've seen close to 150 AB's from Rosales and he's barely hitting over 200. Lets see what Suttons got!

Very unfortunate, but it just goes with the theme of the season. The season is lost anyway. Give him whatever time he needs (unless he DOES and IS able return on this road trip, like another poster eluded to).

Next season, he'll be 35. There are lots of 35-year olds in this game still producing at a high level. No reason why he can't be one of them.

Would be weird to see Bill Hall and J.J. Hardy in Red's Uniforms by the time next homestand starts.but that would be freakin awesome though. Throw Arroyo over there to sweeten the deal

Dont look now but Sutton is playing third base tonight lets hope he displants Rosales as the back up guy for Rolen.

And while Walts at it we traded David Weathers for a player to be named later whyt not that player be JJ Hardy!
