The thing with Janish is that lately every hit he has is a double. There's no way he can sustain it, but while he's the double-machine...I'll just sit back and enjoy it. :O)

Stubbs has a real hard time with "spinning" pitches. The first thing he needs to learn is how to recognize breaking balls and then not to swing at them when they're unhittable like in the dirt. Learning to actually hit them is further down the line.

Basically he can't hit a curveball yet. A very common issue for young players. The ones who overcome this become productive starting players. Those that don't have short careers and are role players. We'll see where Stubbs fits in. In his case he not only can't hit them, he can't lay off them either
