We have a lineup thread, how about a pitching thread.

My Rotation
1. Homer (this is slightly bias as he is my favorite player, put him where you'd like)
2. Arroyo
3. Harang
4. Cueto
5. Lehr/Maloney/... (undecided 5th spot)

Bullpen
MR - Owings
Fisher
Herrera
Burton
SU - Masset
Rhodes
CP - Cordero (he's gonna be here, might as well accept that)

Thoughts? Opinions?

2 to 1 says Harang starts opening day. Write it down.

My gut says if Harang is still with team, Dusty will maybe say " due to recovering" or something like that..he will hold Harang back a couple of days and BA will be OD starter with Bailey going in the 2 hole.
I was actually thinking the other day, it wouldnt surprise me if Harang went to Dusty and said BA deserves to be OD starter after his 09 season.

My prediction of the rotation:
Aaron Harang
Bronson Arroyo (Respect Dude!)
Homer Bailey/Johnny Cueto (better Spring)
Homer Bailey/Johnny Cueto
(Insert hot starting FA/Young guy here)

What I wish...
Johnny Cueto/Homer Bailey (better spring)
Aaron Harang
Johnny Cueto/Homer Bailey (mix up the hard tossers and the control/movement guys)
Bronson Arroyo
(whoever "wins" it)

Pen: Believe that Cordero gets traded for a decent return.
CL: Nick Masset

SU:
Arthur Rhodes

Other Pen:
Daniel Ray Herrera
Carlos Fischer
Jared Burton
Micah Owings
A "reclamation" project like Brandon Webb/Justin Ducherster With them being 1st option into the rotation when needed and a chance to win it outright in ST.
Bill Bray if still hurt open competition.

I'm thinking Homer could well have developed to be the hammer we all hoped for, due to the pitch he learned from Lehr.

Mark Matt Maloney down as the final starter. All these designations about who is a #1 or #2 or #3 are meaningless. You need five starters and each one is the man on the day he takes the bump.

Immerse yourself in Bakermetrics. It will all make sense soon.
