Here are a couple of transactions which probably not too impotant. Too bad it wasnt Willy T, Bray, Castillo, Lincoln & McDonald, to free up some spots on the roster to protect more important players.

11/04/09 Cincinnati Reds outrighted Kevin Barker to Louisville Bats.

Can't say I'm sad to see Richar go. He never really seemed to do much.

One of your wishes came true. McDonald was outrighted today. I agree--the Reds need to make some room on the roster, and the guys you mentioned are the first ones I'd consider.

McDonald was outrighted and resigned though. Meaning opening day CF for 2 years in a row!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Richar was a bench guy and we have about 30 middle infielders in the pipeline its just a shame we didnt get to see more of him.

I'm not sure why resigning him means he's the opening day CF next year. Maybe I'm just missing something (probably something obvious;))

I think left field next year should be Gomes/Francisco,Dye,or Andruw Jones/Francisco

I like the Gomes/Francisco option myself; I think FA money would be better spent at SS or on the rotation.

Anyone hear that Kip Wells is a FA also. I'm actually kinda upset we didn't keep him.
Even with his 5.33 ERA, I liked his stuff.

Just found out from tORG that Ramon Ramirez has been claimed off wavers by the Rays.
I haven't looked at his stats yet, but he definitely has some talent.
