As I watch the MLB Network's various promos and "end of the year" type stuff, I keep an eye out for Reds related clips.
Here's the top 3 I see over and over:
1) Pujols' grand slam bomb in Cincinnati
2) Manny's home run in Los Angeles
3) The 22-1 beatdown compliments of the Phillies (Our 1, BTW, came from Jonny Gomes, who was just non-tendered)

Eh, if we were any better, we wouldn't have made as many highlights... that's really sad...

I was on the riverboat the night Pujols hit the grand slam. Thats the last game I went to this year, lol.

Packed house that night, we were playing somewhat decently, and not too far back in the standings, if I recall.
It all went downhill after that, as that night was the turning point of our season.

Speaking of the Reds on MLBN... they are showing game one of the '70 World Series against the Orioles at 12:30 Sunday.

Exactly.........that demoralizing loss effectively ended any hopes for a winning season. I still don't know why Dusty didn't give Pujols a free pass then maybe get a double play ball.

I think you would have to pull film from 1990 to get highlights for the Reds. Man what an awful list of "highlights." (As a UK fan) It's like seeing that freakin' Christian Laettner shot before every CBS broadcast and NCAA tourney game.
