Anyone know when Chapman gets his first look? Will it be as a starter or reliever?

Chapman will pitch in the intra-squad game tomorrow. He will pitch 1 inning, I don't know if it'll be the first or not. The game's not open to the public.

Out of those very meager options, I'm most intrigued by seeing if Lehr can actually hit 88-90 on the radar gun. Now that his injuries and general weariness are in the past, I want to see what kind of pitcher he can actually be.

I understand he's still an AAAA starter and a spot starter/long man in MLB at best, but you can't help and root for the guy.

Carlos Fisher should also be intriguing, too. I like his stuff.

I'm very interested to see what Maloney and Stinkin' Lincoln look like. I'm wondering if last year was just an aberration or if Lincoln is done.

Lincoln must have been hurt all season and kept it to himself. I am not saying he is an all-star, but I think he can be a serviceable relief pitcher. Maybe they are stretching him out in Spring Training in case he ends up the long man out of the pen. A contingency plan so to speak. Michael Lincoln the Human Plan B.

I think they bring extra pitchers and catchers to camp every year. The hitters need to see a lot of pitches so they need extra arms. And they need extra catchers to catch all the pitchers. And I think the cat eventually ends up taking the rat. In theory.
