I think his best shot is Saturday at 3B -- day game after night game (like today) vs a righty. Last year in Toronto, they gave Rolen the day off every time there was a day game after a night game, and he played well under those conditions. I realize Toronto has the artificial turf, and that makes a difference, but it's a long season and I think Rolen needs off days to keep his back as healthy as possible.

disappointing turn of events there. Reds have to capitalize on those situations. A one pitch out on a weak fly ball...better be a meat-ball in that situation.

This isn't picking on Brandon, who has been pretty selective/patient the first two games... But you don not swing at the 1st pitch after the guy in front of you walks. Just not a good AB.

So far he's looking great. Not throwing a lot of pitches except for that first inning. Looking very efficent

Just when Bruce looked like he was going to catch a break he gets about as unlucky as he can get. That was ripped off of Pujols, but it bounced straight to the 2nd baseman and Penny just beat Bruce to the bag.

He hit a homer off Glendon Rusch.

He then proceeded to do it again a week later.

In April 06 he hit two seperate homers against Glendon Rusch, I believe.

The second homer off of him was epic. I can remember Griffey's reaction in the dugout.

Leake is supposed to start on Sunday though as of yesterday the team is still listing Sunday as TBA
