I think his best shot is Saturday at 3B -- day game after night game (like today) vs a righty. Last year in Toronto, they gave Rolen the day off every time there was a day game after a night game, and he played well under those conditions. I realize Toronto has the artificial turf, and that makes a difference, but it's a long season and I think Rolen needs off days to keep his back as healthy as possible.

I'm both surprised and impressed at the same time. It's the 9th inning of a tie game, and teh Dusty has brought in the team's best bullpen arm. Kudos to teh Dusty for a good move. Even if Cordero struggles, this is still the right move to make.

I think its more to get Cordero work than anything. If this game were in June I think Masset would have been brought in.
