We play like, .100 baseball when the opposition starts a lefty the last 5-10 years. It gets worse every year

No. Hernandez in a rundown. Bruce didn't score from first on the single before Ramon's base running blunder cost us.

8 k's, 1 walk. 2 mistake pitches that plate 4 runs. Overall, a VERY nice outing for Homer. I really liked how he was getting in front of hitters and pounding the zone. He keeps that up and the W's will come.

He might be done though. 105 pitches

LOOGYs sure do seem to walk the one guy an awful lot. If I had a payroll like the Padres, I sure wouldn't waste it on a guy who comes in to face a guy he is going to walk more often than not.

You would have used a for the pitcher with Rolen on 1st....most likely a sac bunt with Bruce coming up.

Gomes vs. righties isn't the answer. Gomes D in left is NEVER the answer, especially late in the game.

If Ramon doesn't make contact then you've just hung that go ahead runner high and dry on that call.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree there. I like the aggressive play and putting faith in your player to put the bat on the ball.
