Mike Brey likely out at Notre Dame

Just seen it on blogs mostly, but apparently he has been using his putter too much, aka Tiger Woods.

A representative from Deadspin.com contacted Note Dame University media relations person Bernadette Cafarelli and asked about the rumor, to which Cafarelli responded, “Mike Brey is the men’s basketball coach at Notre Dame.” The Deadspin representative who talked to her goes on to add, “(Her inflection suggested a “PERIOD!” so I’ll add that.)” The article continues:

Cafarelli said Notre Dame will not respond to any rumors about Brey/Logan, but when asked if Brey was planning to hold a press conference of some sort this week (also a rumor floating around), she went back to the emphatic, “Mike Brey is the men’s basketball coach at Notre Dame.”
