Frankly, I think we have the best catching combo in all of MLB.
Votto is a clear All star so far this year
Bruce
Phillips
Leake
Cordero
are all guys who should get a good look if they continue at their recent rates

I agree 100%. Two unselfish guys that work well with our different types of pitchers

Which is exactly why neither of them will make the All Star game.
But I agree, they are both solid.

Votto totally deserves it but with Puhols and Howard in the NL they are always going to get more attention/votes unfortunately.

Those 2 are great players that play on WINNING teams. When the reds start consistantly winning then youll see guys like votto and phillips make allstar teams. Unfortunatly not always the guys havving the best seasons make allstar teams.
I voted 25 times yesterday

I liked the fan voting when the game was a exibition. After all it was for our entertainment so why not let us vote. However now that it decides homefield for the world series there should not be a fan vote.

Remember to vote your 25 times
I havent seen the early results of the All star voting but I'm thinking Votto is going to have a huge showing in the 1st ballots.

If Votto keeps up the pace he is at and continues to put up better numbers than Pujols, and Votto is not the starting 1B, they should just do away with fan voting.

Pujols is going to be the starting first baseman for the NL, the guy is going to be a legend when it is all said and done, Votto hopefully will make the all star team though

New results out: Votto's not even in the top 5. Damn large-market teams.

Albert Pujols, Ryan Howard, Prince Fielder, James Loney and Lance Berkman???
Lance Berkman? He's batting .233 with 14 RBI.
Screw the all star game
Well that all but seals it. This years only Reds player in the all star game is going to be Cordero again because no one outside of Cincy will vote for a cincy player, and the managers wont care to think other than look at saves leaders.
Brewer fans must stuff the ballot boxes. Seriously do they pay per fan vote or something out there?

votto's gona be the first player ever to be leading the triple crown at his position and not make the all star game.. what a joke
If everyone on this forum voted 25 times Votto would still only get like 60k votes rofl.
If the season continues Rolen, Votto, and Leake (possibly) will all be easily all star worthy and wont make it.

So some of you are not gonna use your 25 votes for Votto because you think Pujols is gonna win it? Wierd.

Yep, no one outside of Cincinnati is going to vote for Cincinnati, it is just a fact.

I sure hope Votto gets in, which he should. Rhodes has a chance as well.

Why does no one here understand how voting works? The only thing the fan votes count for is who WINS the position (which will undoubtedly be Pujols). After that, it is decided by players and managers. This year, 1B will be Pujols, Howard, Votto in that order. Unless Adrian Gonzalez or Prince Fielder go on absolute tears, he WILL make the all-star team.
