I kind of wish Hanigan could be behind the plate for Harang today. They seem to work well together but maybe Dusty wants to split up the catchers for this day-night two game series. I bet Hanigan starts tomorrow afternoon.

Let's get another win tonight guys! RALLY ONION!!! :D

Would've liked to seen Gomes get the day off and Heisey start. Like someone said in another thread the Braves have a big outfield and Harang is a fly ball pitcher.

Rolen with a bloop single. 1st & 2nd for Bruce

HeatherC1212

IIRC, Jay Bruce hit the walk off HR off Kawakami back in 2008. I think he was in the bullpen back then. I could be wrong but for some reason that sticks in my head (I was at the game but I remember the HR better than the pitcher who gave it up, LOL).

Back to back singles. :D

Seriously, someone remind Fox and ESPN that there are other teams out there besides the Yankees. They were all ready on Monday night, they're on tonight, and they're the game of the week on Saturday too. Seriously?! Do we really need to see them that much?

Yanks vs Rays would be the marquee match up though....

Owings usually runs out of gas after 3 or so. If Maloney is over the blisters he may be a better option. With Harang making all that cake he will be given every opportunity to get right.

It was a bad AB from Stubbs and Hernandez as well. Stubbs swings through or swings at really bad pitches even when ahead. He hits like a pitcher.

If you feel he can't improve and you can't trade him then you have to either move him to the bullpen or release him.

He might be able to go to the minors if he agrees to it, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
