Joey clearly needs me to help him out with that neck issue. :p: In all seriousness, I hope he is feeling better and is just out again for precautionary reasons tonight. I'm glad this team has learned how to win games without him this year. There were some games last year that were just abysmal without him.

MODS: Please EDIT the NAME of this thread to show the fact that it is SAM LeCURE's MLB DEBUT, for future reference. THANKS

Done.

I don't like Votto being out either. A game or two is one thing, once it gets past that my worry increases exponentially.

I'm guessing Votto is 100% healthy....Dusty just put the better bat out there tonight.

RT @Chuck_Morris: Any word on the status of Votto's - timetable to return? Spoke to him a minute ago. He's better. I'd guess Sat. or Sun.

The Astros were charging in on that play, maybe a bit too hard.
At some point, Dusty is going to have to have some of the pitchers pull back the bunt and swing to keep the other teams honest.

A lefty, Chacin in to pitch. (Why a lefty to face BP?)

Gomes walks on a long count, bases juiced again.
Bruce patiently works the count full, then walks.
