Idk. Bronson handled the Cards well in both of his previous starts this season, 17 IP, 3 ER. Garcia is good, but the Reds have some righties who are mashing. I think the Reds have a solid chance.

Much has been made of Ubaldo Jimenez and his absurd 0.88 ERA (512 ERA+!!) on the season, but Jaime Garcia is right behind him with his ERA sitting at a ridiculous 1.14 (358 ERA+).

Is this kid ever going to come back to Earth?

Jaime Garcia's BABIP is .255. When that normalizes a bit (.300), and the league sees him a time or two, his ERA will come up.... While 7.32 K/9 is good, the 3.9 BBs per nine is not that great.

This strike zone is beyond bothersome today. I'd love to see PitchFX or even the Fox Trax on some of these, because it looks like this ump is missing on judging where breaking balls are crossing the plate.

He is terrible. Wildly inconsistent. Both sides but much moreso towards Arroyo. There was one pitch to Lopez that was right down the middle called a ball. And it was a fastball so you can't blame movement. He is going to get toasted by MLB after the game when he receives his report.

Walking the pitcher is among the dumbest thing you can do in a baseball game. There are VERY few pitchers who have the ability to hit for extra bases, and even fewer who have the power to take you out of the yard.

Throw strikes, and let them beat you doing the thing they DON'T work on all the time.
