Gross hit a little pop up (which it really wasn't, it was just a little like dying shot) to Phillips at 2nd. BP could have definatley caught it on the fly, but he let it hit the ground, fielded it on the short hop, threw home for 1 out and then Ramon threw to 3rd for the common 4-2-5 DP.

Not as much as his possible DFA in the weeks ahead.

He's 8 points lower than Cabrera in BA. He's got more pop and plays much better defense. I don't see either of them getting dumped.

I forgot the game was on.

Nice job by Johnny Cueto today, and Jay Bruce was 3-3 with a walk.

Of course Cabrera and Stubbs, well.......were O for today.

Poor Chris Heisey and Paul Janish, passed over again, relegated to splinter counting, in lieu of the O-fers.

Sometimes there is just no justice in this world. ;)

On vacation in Myrtle Beach this week (as I've mentioned before). This guy from Cincinnati is here and we began to talk about the Reds. Then all of a sudden we both realized the Reds were playing today. Thank goodness, his phone was working and we saw the win. Much celebrating and cheap beer. Reds fans are everywhere and nice folks. Sweep against us and sweep for us. Now, a day off and back at it. Hopefully I can see the game on Sunday.

Nice sweep! Thank you Reds.

I gotta little bet with a BIG MOUTH co-worker who boasts that the Reds won't be in first place at the end of June because they are losers. Every day, when the Reds lose, he has to come in a remind me of it. But when they win he shuts up..... and then I remind him.
