Cabrera is usually pretty good at moving runners on his own. At least give him a chance to get a hit. Santana is going to be a tough match up even for Votto. Santana will get plenty of outs on his own skill I really don't like handing him any for free.

A number of hacks on this team, but it seams most everyone fell into the trap tonight except Cairo and Votto on a couple occaissions.

It's interesting to look at the box score. OCab saw only 8 pitches in 4 AB's. Same for Corky Miller (only 3 AB). Gomes 10. Not surprisingly, those guys got one hit among them and that was Cabarrera. What got into them tonight? Or was that the plan? If so, it was a horrible failure. The team saw 113 pitches and had 30 AB. Sad.

True. I don't think they need to be moved into starting roles, just played more often than 2 times a MONTH.
