Our .280 OBP shortstop who couldn't hit little league pitches, and our closer who can't get a freaking out. Guess he's too distracted by his undeserved $12 million salary and what real estate he's looking to buy with it to do his job.

I agree with Walt, all except with Coco and our SS.....I have been saying since OC's hot streak that Janish was still our best option.....Paul needs more playing time just as Heisy needs more time in center and left.....but our glaring problem is our closer, many teams in baseball are having the same problem so its not going to get solved with a late trade at the deadline....someone is going to have to get groomed from within or something is going to have to fall into our laps. Its a league wide problem. But I agree that Coco needs to gogo....keep him on roster since we are paying him high dollar, but quit using him in the closer role.

Take a look at this picture....pay careful attention to the thing that is on the table, and the thing that is on his (what appears to be) right ring finger.

Different team, different manager, different pitching coach.....apples to oranges.

I did hear that he's donating his proceeds from the Wheaties commercial to the Girl Scouts of America.

I don't agree with you on Cabrera. Ever since he strained that muscle in his leg, he's been cold. But before that, he played a key role in a lot of our wins. From what I've read and heard, he's also a guy that keeps the team loose. He'll bring that average up eventually. But I do wish they'd let Janish start a little bit more.

I'd love to get rid of Cordero too, but I know no one would take him in a trade. Since they can't, if they take him out of that closer role that once happy clubhouse is going to have to deal with Coco's wrath. He already looks like a mean guy and from what I've heard in his dealings with the media (talks to them when it goes good, shuns them when it goes bad), he doesn't have very good character.
