I have a question for any of you old veterans. If I wanted to go check out Red's BP on Friday in Houston would I need to buy a Astros BP ticket. That came up on line and I wasn't sure if I had to have one to get in to see the Reds bp too. Sounds like a dumb question, but I wasn't sure. Also, would the Reds take bp before or after the Astros on the road? Any help is appreciated.

Visiting team always takes BP last. BP usually ends around 45 minutes before the first pitch (6:25 for a 7:10 start). And I'm not sure what you mean by a "BP ticket", I would assume you would just need a game ticket to get into the stadium.
Edit...Just found this on the Astros website.

When I ordered off of Astros.com they asked me if I wanted an Astros BP -(Batting Practice ) ticket added to my ticket for $75.00 Figured I would see more fireworks at my son's little league practice so I passed on that. Thanks for the Info though

Ladies and gentlemen, this why I attend MiLB games as often as I can. If I understand the post here, they wanted an additional $75 to see the teams take BP. For $75 I can see an awful lot of MiLB baseball and have a few decent beers along the way.
