"Bruce is expected to miss a 12th straight game Monday with pain in his right side, though Baker says the outfielder could start Tuesday."

This Enright guys looks good also. Could be up to Arroyo to find a way at getting Drew, LaRoche, and Montero out.

Why does Gameday show Heisey hitting 8th in RF? Did Bruce get scratched or is someone sleeping on the job?

Nvm, looking at Cedric's post it is apparent that the lineup has changed since Heisey was originally in it.

Pretty easy when Volkie is on the mound this year...

Its either a walk, K, HR, Hit. And I bet the Walk/K take up 60% of his batters it seems... :p

Nah the Reds were on offense. I believe it was something like Stubbs homered, Hanigan walked, Volquez bunted and the pitcher threw the ball away into the outfield when he fielded it. The last one was a scary coincidence.

To answer my own question...

"On August 12, 2010 Nick Swisher had a 32 pitch At-Bat against Bruce Chen of the Royals. After starting the At-Bat 0-2 Swisher battled and stayed 0-2 for another 10 pitches. He then worked the count to 3-2 now at 28 pitches. Then fouled off 3 more just before hitting a 2-Run home run to end this long At-Bat. Bruce Chen was then pulled from the game because he was at 93 pitches in the 4th inning."

Anyone ragging on the Reds attendance does not understand the economics of baseball.

A vast majority of tickets for any particular game are sold before the year. Did you think Reds-Dbacks would be a must see game in February?

The people who have the cash and the flexibility to just attend a Reds game whenever they want are a limited pool. That limited pool was already tapped once in the past weekend when they went to the Reds/Pirates game.

I'd guess every contending team has sold the same number of tickets in the past two months including the Reds.
