View Full Version : Will Sunday's Bengals game against the Buccaneers sell out?

They have obviously had issues with this, and with a shaky start to the season, combined with a mediocre, nondescript opponent, I'm afraid the game won't sell out.

I'm going to Cincy on Sunday for the Reds game, and was hoping to catch the Bengals at a local bar beforehand. I'm kinda worried about a blackout, and I don't have the cash to shell out to personally attend both games.

What's the early word?

Just like previous games, the NFL will give the Bengals an extra day and it will sell out somehow, someway. Don't worry, it'll be on tv.

This. They might even give away some tickets like they did last year. Which is what I hope. Money is tight too..Just bought playoff tickets and concert tickets..

I predict they will not sell out this time, it could be a long season.

This one will be a sellout, but a loss here ends the streak.

No. I don't think they sell out. If it is close they will sell out but Cincy sports fans will spend their money on Reds tickets instead of $70 on a Bengals Bucs game.

Well, I'll be there wearing my Gerald McCoy threads, so that's 1 less seat they need to sell.

Sell out? Or 'sell out?'

Either way Mikey wins and Bengals fans lose. . . again, and again, and again.

It'll sell out, probably with tickets given away. The late start for the Reds will make it happen.

It will sell out but if the Bengals lose it would end the streak. Bengals aren't looking so good so far....they need to live up to their expectations.

You could always pay $70 per ticket. Now THAT is a kick in the nads!

True, true, and true. Mikey Boy needs to stand up, buy the remaining 5000+ tickets and give them away to the military. Next game, he can give them away to local schools. After that, different charities and such. This would go a long way towards showing that Scrooge, I mean Mike Brown, really cares about the City of Cincinnati instead of just himself.

BTW, I can't stand Mike Brown. Just sayin'.

The game is officially a sellout and will be televised. As per usual, local companies stepped up to the plate and bought the remaining allotment.

After today's debacle of epic proportions, I foresee a blackout in the very near future. And the thing is, I don't care. After today, I'm emotionally done with them this year. I won't plan my day around them anymore this year. They really stink. And I put 99% of the blame on Marvin, Bratkowski, and Palmer. They all deserve to be fired after today.

I've no doubt that the Steelers Monday Night game on 11/8 will sell out, if for no other reason than it's the Steelers. However, I certainly wouldn't be the least bit shocked if the Dolphins game the week before does not sell out (particularly if they get drilled in their next game on the road against a talented Falcons team).

Their bandwagon fans sure do "travel" well :p:
