To paraphrase Mark Twain, the reports of Mr. Feller's death are greatly exaggerated. Several media have reported that; although, Bob Feller is gravely ill, he is still with us this morning.

Please send your thoughts, prayers, good karma, or whatever you believe to his family and friends in this difficult time.

I'm feel sorry for his family but I've never liked him since his rude comments about Pete Rose.

I agree with you. He was very hateful towards Pete.

I pray for God to be with him and his family but his sentiment for Pete Rose was disgusting at best.

Well didn't they move him to hospice care? If that is the case its only a matter of time.

He was one of those old farts that believed to be in the hall of fame you had to have been a boring boy scout, I detest that attitude.

SO, how do you feel about Johnny then? He certanly has never held back negative words about Pete either. I think they both have the right to be honest with you

JB's comments are nothing compared to Feller's. I believe that JB would still be ok with Pete being in the HOF. Really I just can't stand that attitude of the older generation thinking they are better than the younger generations, Feller had that attitude.

I have heard Johnny say a few times that he disgraced the game and should never be allowed in the Hall-and also refused to do events where Pete was going to be at times. It is only recently that he even made his first comment that he thinks Pete should be in, and still gave a list of what he needs to do first. I think HOF'ers have earned the right to say what they feel about others and their bid to get in, more so then outsiders like us.
