No Dunn for the Chisox. Probably over counseling Kearns on his arrest. ;)

Pierre led off with a single, but Bailey got Rios to GIDP, and he gets 'em in order in the 2nd, so he's faced the minimum through two.

Stubbs K
Heisey K
Lewis BB
Fransisco 6-3

No, I don't think pitch counts are accurate for spring training games.

Yeah, but you should really see those 1 pitch strikeouts. apparently Jim Coombs has been sharing "the secret" Must have got caught up in the Madoff scandal, just to see how the other side lives.

Valaika & Stubbs single back to back. Heisey reaches on a force of Valiaka & error. Lewis plates 2 with a single.

~edit~ Lewis knocked in 1 (Stubby) with the single.

Make that 2-0 with a wild pitch scoring Heisey

3-0 now with a double from Francisco scoring Lewis

A Dorn walk & Negron double plates another run last half inning. 6-3

Not exactly a textbook inning from Arredondo thus far. BB, BB, HBP, K, K....

Single...6-5 now. *sigh* ... another BB and that's enough for Dusty. Thompson coming in.

Tie ball game after the bases loaded walk from Daryl Thompson. 6-6
A strikeout to end the inning.

From Sheldon's blog post on today's game came this great line: "Mesoraco hit one a mile and a half and Hermida hit one a mile," manager Dusty Baker said.

Bugs Bunny could stike out the side on one pitch. Remember that cartoon? :)

A true classic. :O) Kids these days miss out on so much. Looney Toons really needs to be brought back for them somewhere. It cracks me up that they pulled them originally because they were thought to be too violent. Good lord. If an anvil on the head is too violent, these people don't watch enough television or movies.

You would think Boomerang or Cartoon Network could fit a 30 minute show of these cartoons in once a day? I watched these all the time when I was kid and I am one of the least violent persons around. Didn't harm me at all.

I agree. And I'm the same way...although I must admit, I don't have an ACME dealership near my house. Readily available anvils, dynamite & rockets...it might be a different story. :O)
