Torres just homered, 2-0 Giants. I have to double check and see what inning we're actually in right now.

Update: Sanchez just followed up with a dinger himself, 3-0 Giants.

Gameday doesn't seem to be working, so I can't bring things up to date on the earlier inning, but I believe it is Top of the 3rd.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 03:36 PM
Bronson's getting tatooed here right now, Huff homers, 3 in a row. 4-0 Giants. Ouch.

redsmetz

It is just spring training, but make sure I never start a thread in the regular season, folks.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 03:37 PM
Going to the middle of the inning, 4-0 Giants.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 03:40 PM

Francisco fouling them off, still a 2-2 count.

Swing & a miss, down on strikes, end of 3, 4-0 Big guys.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 03:49 PM
If I remember correctly, it should be Burrell, DeRosa & Belt leading off the 4th.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 03:51 PM
Burrell shoots one off the wall, thrown out trying to stretch it into a double, Gomes to Phillips.

Next ground out by DeRosa, Janish to Votto.

redsmetz

Belt grounds to Votto who shovels it to Bronson, 3 up, 3 down, still 4-zip, the other guys.

It is just spring training, but make sure I never start a thread in the regular season, folks.

This is a good thing, Bronson's getting his homers out of the way in the spring ;)

Don't let this stop you from starting threads

Broken bat blooper for Brandon, first base runner for the Red dogs.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 03:59 PM

The thing with Spring Training is you never know what the guy's working on. Whatever it was, it needs some perfecting. :)

Joey called out on strikes, 6 K's for Bumgarner, facing only the minimum with BP being eliminated from the bases.

redsmetz

Volquez in pitching, Whiteside flies out to center on first pitch. I think some subs may be in as I overheard the PA announce Valaika, but I'll confirm.

Torres flies to Gomes, two down.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:06 PM
Sanchez battling Volquez to full count, walks on ball four. Burress? pinch running for Sanchez, probably will remain in the game.

"Va lake ia" in at 2nd according to Giants announcer.

Huff grounds to Valaika, three down. 4-0 Giants

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:10 PM
Burress stays in game, Terry Evans now in Center and Santiago Casia pitching. Evans will bat 1st.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:11 PM
Rolen, Gomes & Bruce here in bottom of 5th.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:12 PM
Spelling corrections: Burriss @ 2nd, Casilla pitching for you kids keeping score at home.

Rollen one hops the wall, stand up double for a stand up guy. No Brucie on that or is that a Brucie?

Miguel "Speedy" Cairo into pinchrun for Scott, Gomes bounces to short, one away.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:17 PM
Jay "Brucie" Bruce strikes out, seven on the day for our beloved Reds.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:18 PM
Hernandez up now, grounds to short, end of 5 innings, still 4-0 Giants.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:22 PM
Ross, Sandoval & Burrell leading off, Volquez still pitching. Cairo remains at 3rd. Volquez is throwing strikes.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:25 PM
Ross pops out to Votto, almost collide, I think the announcer said.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:32 PM
Sorry, had a little power hiccup, last I heard was Sandoval had a ground rule double, I assume he scored as I see we're down 5-0. Actually, I see a pinch runner, Ford, scored.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:34 PM
I see Rohlinger is pinch running for Burrell, so that's how the run scored.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:35 PM
Belt K's, 5-0 Giants at the end of the 6th?

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:38 PM
New pitcher for SF, Javier Lopez, 3B is Ryan Rohlinger, SS Mike Fontenot, 1B is Brad Eldred, Darren Ford is now in CF, Terry Evans moves from CF to RF, Thomas Neal (Neil) in LF.

Janish leading off, singles to CF, I believe

redsmetz

I'll be heading home at 5 p.m., so hopefully someone else can get the feed from the Giants and give the PBP.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:41 PM
Francisco K's, Heisey into bat, PH for Stubbs.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:41 PM
Heisey into a DP, 4-6-3, after 6, still 5-0, the other team.

San Fran scored when the pinch runner stole 3rd, and there was an error on the Reds somehow. Not sure if it was a passed ball along w/ the stolen base, or the ball sailed into LF trying to nab him at 3rd.

Thanks, Medford. Crazy reboot on the computer. Volquez should pitch one more inning.

Changes: Frazier at 1B , Heisey remains in game in CF, Hermida in LF. Renteria in at SS, not sure who the RF'er is and I thought I heard a change at catcher.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:46 PM
Looks like Fred Lewis is in RF, Hernandez still catching.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:48 PM
BTW, Whiteside reached base on a HBP, moves to second either on a straight steal or moving on catcher juggling ball.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:50 PM
Burriss singles, Whiteside scores, 6-0. Dusty coming to mound for Volquez.

Argh, I'm trying to work while I do this and kept inputting a number at a carrier's website and it kept saying it couldn't find the document. I finally realized it was the wrong carrier. Sheesh.

Horst in to pitch for us, Mez catching.

redsmetz
03-10-2011, 04:56 PM
Batter (forgot who) flies to deep right, runner advances. Sorry, folks, I'm multi-tasking and I've lost track of the changes (Culberson flied out, Burris advanced to 2nd).

Not a problem. Very strange that a thread hadn't been started and then that power outage and getting our brains beat out. Good thing this one didn't count.
