Oh wait, Charlie Morton is atrocious.

Way to wave the white flag Dusty. Allowing Maloney to hit there? LMAO. (Actually, I'm not. More like CMEO.)

In all seriousness, what in the heck can he do. The offense is non-existent, so you just blow through another reliever to watch Francisco pop up. Maloney hit the ball harder than anyone tonight anyway.

Renteria drops one and then fails to reach the next one...nothing like making our pitchers get 5 outs per inning...
Jonny Gomes does his Jim Edmonds imitation with a diving grab three steps from where he started.
Morton at 95 pitches...we need to get to him here.

6-4 every 10 is 97 wins. They are 2-0 on the 2nd 10 game streak. Even if they win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1, win 2, lose 1, etc., etc., thats still the 97 win mark.
I'm ok with this. Even the Pirates play well now and then.
Oh well, go get'em tomorrow. Pound the Budweiser.

Jay Bruce goes yard with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth to breakup the shutout, but the Reds lose it in the end 6-1. Morton pitched a good game on a blustery night.
