Well, there's the lineup shake-up some were requesting.

Not me.

Leake is probably the worst at missing bats of the Reds entire rotation, and it always seems like Dusty puts out the worst defensive lineup that he can every time he pitches.

Perhaps Leake can steal a victory for the good guys in this one :)

Sorry, somebody had to say it.

Leake's gonna come out and throw a gem amidst his whole controversy. Just seems like something he'd do

I think he will either throw a gem or get hammered. I doubt there will be any middle ground on this start for him. It will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts to him. Boo,cheer or indifference?

medford
04-21-2011, 11:39 AM
I imagine the crowd will react based upon his performance on the mound. Probably mostly indifference when he takes the mound, but enhanced cheering/booing if he does great/poor. If he pitches average, the the crowd will remain indifferent.

Interesting stat...Leake has the rotation's worst K/9 at 7.6. Even though it is early, that is pretty impressive.

I don't think we'll see any difference in crowd reaction today. It might be interesting to see what happens when he starts on the road in Milwaukee though.. although that might just involve a lot of punny signs in the crowd as opposed to boos directed at Mike
