Go vote early and often.

With Pujols off to a slow start, and Utley out with an injury, we should have a good chance to get starting nods for Votto and Phillips.

How cool would it be to have 5 Reds players represented at the ASG this year?

Vote Gomes! Early and often. You may be locked out, until game time, when Dusty has to get off of his computer.

no chance phillips or votto win the fan vote, philly and st louis have much higher attendance. they should be reserves though.

Phillips has a good shot IMO. There is a good chance that Utley won't be healthy for the ASG, so he will probably start even if he doesn't win.

Votto will be probably be a reserve.

It's not really based on attendance anymore as there is online voting.

Take a look at last year's results.

There were 21mil ballots returned from stadiums, when you are talking 2.1mil votes to be the starter at second last year that shows how hard it will be for BP to make up for the 1/2 to 1mil votes Utley will get from his home fans.

Even Howard and Fielder beat out Votto last year, both teams averaged twice as many fans early in the year.

I like how MLB.com made it much easier to vote multiple times quickly. Got my 25 in in about 5-10 minutes.

Realistically, which Red's do you envision making the team?

I would say Votto, Phillips, and Chapman.

Outside shots at this point: Stubbs and Cordero.

Thoughts?
