Did I miss something? I thought Cueto was scheduled to go today? (or was it Monday)

SC, Cueto was always scheduled to go today. J-Ram probably just listed the wrong lineup.

Stubbs 8
Renteria 6
Votto 3
Phillips 4
Bruce 9
Gomes 7
Hernandez 2
Cairo 5
Cueto 1

*There has been no announced roster move, yet, to make room for Cueto.
*Miguel Cairo is making his first start since April 30.
*If Joey Votto reaches base today, it will be 34 straight games to start the season and would tie himwith Dave Collins’ 1981 record to start the season

From Sheldon. I'm taking HIS take on it. Janish still out.

Redsfan320

That one sounds much more likely, SC. Yesterday, it was sounding like Janish was going to be out for at least a few days.

Phillips (at least) is using the pink bat today. Plus pink cleats. :D

Several Reds players were opening boxes that contained their new pink bats for use on Mother’s Day and to recognize breast cancer awareness.

**
“I’m using it for my Mom,” Brandon Phillips said. “I’m using it for my Mom’s mom and for the all the moms in my family. It recognition for the moms out there, especially for breast cancer awareness also. I’m very privileged to use a pink bat and pink cleats also. It’s nice to be able to do something like this. I’m just glad to be a part of it.”

From Sheldon.

On Janish (Sheldon...I'm guessing Fay didn't make the trip to Chi-town)

SS Paul Janish (sprained right ankle) grabbed a bat and headed to the cage under the outfield bleachers. Earlier in the clubhouse, he saw some improvement since he was injured on Friday.

*

“I am going outside today and move around a little bit,” Janish said. “It is definitely better than it was but it’s still a little sore. I am obviously not playing today, but maybe tomorrow or the next couple of days, I’ll probably be at least in the realm to get back on it pretty good. It’s kind of encouraging because I thought it would be a few more days. We’ll be good.”

And on Francisco....

3B Juan Francisco (left calf) was scheduled to leave today for a Minor League rehab assignment at Louisville.

Sorry, but Cueto is going to have to dethrone Mr Arroyo as far as I'm concerned. He's coming off a 17-10 season, 3.88 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 215 IP.
