Third different LF in three days for the Reds. Not sure it will matter against Lincecum. I'm almost glad I can't get this game. The offense could be brutal.

1-2-3. Lincecum wins round one.

Brutus

Leake answered with a 1-2-3 of his own. Bruce singles against Lincecum, steals second and goes to third on a wild pitch. That's where he sits with one out.

Darn. Sharp grounder to short. They call Stubbs out at 2nd. Marty disagrees, but regardless, inning over. 10-0 Redlegs.

Espn Gamecast on my phone shows the Reds win probability has flatlined at 99.9999 percent. Good times. :beerme:

Carlos Fisher in. Can the pen hold a 10 run lead? *grin* If not, it's time to institute beheadings in the clubhouse. :O)

Wow. 50 innings in a row in this ballpark without a HR by either team. That's stunning.

Walk to Torres

I've been a Fisher supporter and I'm glad he's gotten several weeks of service time at major league pay, but he needs to go down and get in the back of the line. Several others should get a look before he comes back.

And this one belongs to the Reds! 10-2. Crappy ninth from Fisher, but FANTASTIC pitching from Leake.

Mike Leake 8.0 ip / 4 hits / 0 runs / 1 bb / 8 k's / era 4.06 / 6-2 record

This team needs to keep playing as well the rest of the trip as they have these first three games. If they do they will come back home in very good shape.

Third different LF in three days for the Reds. Not sure it will matter against Lincecum. I'm almost glad I can't get this game. The offense could be brutal.

I know it's frowned upon here to talk about really big wins in the regular season but today was a really big win.A win tomorrow and we could look back at the end of the year and talk about where things started to go right.Three out of four at SF could be a big deal right now.

Lincecum had only 2 pitches all game that were swings and misses. (both Stubbs)

He hasn't been quite the same since going 133 pitches in a complete game shutout a couple weeks back. For the Giants, hopefully it's just a bit of a dead arm.
