Why is Ryan Hannigan continuing to get equal and sometimes more at bats than the .300 plus hitting Ramon.

This is ridiculous.

He is better defensively and Hernandez needs the off days.Plus he's Arroyo's personal catcher. That's all I got.

I think this too.

Ramon is getting up there for a catcher. Can't play like he does unless he gets rest.

Because when Razor plays everyday his numbers take a sharp drop. Razor needs the time off to be able to maintain his .300 plus average

A sharp dip still makes him more productive and dangerous than Ryno.

First of all, his name is Hanigan, not Hannigan.

I think we are better off with the two guys splitting duties. It keeps Ramon healthy, fresh, and able to hit .300+. If he had to catch everyday I think you would start to see him get worn down and regress back to his career averages, around .260.

Because he calls a better game then Ramon does.

Well, if Hanigan's numbers are down this year, I'm not going to write him off just yet.

Up until this year, I do know that he defensively he threw out more runners than Ramon, and the pitchers had a better e.r.a. when Hanigan called the game.

And maybe the middle aged Ramon is hitting so well because Hanigan is getting half the starts? I think so. It keeps Ramon fresh.
