Because my go at a game thread yesterday went so well:

Stubbs 8,
Phillips 4,
Votto 3,
Bruce 9,
Rolen 5,
Gomes 7,
Hernandez 2,
Janish 2,
Cueto 1.

vs. RH Gordon.

All because using the lefty Lewis in the leadoff v the RH and dropping Stubbs to 6th would blow too many minds.

As someone said (hilariously) in a thread last night - major lineup changes might destroy Reds' wonderful current team chemistry.

Let's hope Gomes/Hernandez bring some additional offense to the club tonight.

The Reds game with the New York Yankees was postponed due to rain. The Reds will play a day-night doubleheader tomorrow. The regularly scheduled game will be at 12:35 p.m. The makeup for tonight’s game will be at 7:10 p.m.

I would understand if Volquez was pitching, but not Cueto.

I'm really puzzled by this postponement. I don't think it ever did rain anymore, not at least at my place which is about six miles up from downtown. I know there was a possibility of rain, but that's not unusual in itself.

I live right down the street from the park and was amazed. There was zero rain after the game would have begun.
