Just wondering...could we maybe move him to another position?

Catcher Yasmani Grandal has been promoted from High-A Bakersfield to AA-Carolina. The Reds 2010 first round pick (12th overall) at Bakersfield this year:
56 games/206 AB
.296 BA, .410 OBP, .510 SLG, .920 OPS

I haven't seen a report that calls him better than Mesoraco.

Doesn't matter, you don't make a racehorse pull the plow because you have two. You sell one and buy two good mules and a riding horse.

I've read in the minor league thread that Grandal may not stick at catcher. I think a move to 3B would finally give us a future replacement for Rolen.

Which of the 4 is considered to be the best defensively? I think we know that Mes projects to be the best offensive threat.

Are you referring to Mes/Grandal/Hernandez/Hanigan or Mes/Grandal/Barnhart/Fleury? In the first case it's Hanigan, in the second Barnhart.
