He gets baited by a Milwaukee beat writer. I laughed so hard I teared up. Look at Tony's eyes at about 2:05

DatDudeBP was right on the money. Maybe shouldn't have gone public with it, but hit the nail on the head.

I dont condone violence, but in this instance I sure would love to be front row the day someone finally hauls off and beats the shnick out of that grumpy, bitter old man.

I'd rather have a cardboard cutout of Jerry Narron leading the team than Tony LaRussa. I could never root for a group of babies, even if it were my Redlegs.

For anyone of you guys that were wondering. The brewer's TV analyst who called Larussa and the Cards bush league last night is former catcher Bill Schroeder.

I hate to concur with that, but yes. Would I want him as our manager? No. I want Dusty even less.

One good thing about Dusty. He dont go mouthing off to the media about the other team when he is frustrated.

How can you tell...all he does is mumble in his interviews and never answers the questions...

Dusty sucks as a manager. Larussa sucks as a human being and sucks at being a man. I don't remember ever witnessing a bigger tool than Tony Larussa.

Cards got lucky last night. Why in the world in a 7-7 tied game would you bean Ryan Braun with Prince Fielder coming up? Just idiotic. They were lucky they got bailed out.

And how in the world does an umpire NOT throw the pitcher out when he beaned Braun? It was beyond obvious after trying to hit him on an earlier pitch, that he was TRYING TO HIT HIM. Duh. Pitcher should have been ejected.

I will never root for the Cardinals. I want the Reds to rise up and win the division, just so I can laugh at the Cards, Brewers, and Pirates for making trades that went to waste. But if the Reds don't win it, I want the Brewers to win it over the Cardinals any day of the week.

I think when all is said and done, LaRussa will turn out to be one of the best managers of all time. It is hard to see it, right in the middle of doing battle with him every year.

That may be or may have been true. But I think every year LaRussa stays in St Louis add a blemish to that reputation. I always liked the Cardinals before the LaRussa era; but they are looking more and more like the Pittsburgh Steelers every day.

I think even St. Louis fans are tired of Larussa.

I think even St. Louis fans are tired of Larussa. If the various local sports talk shows (not owned by the Cards) and the fan forums are any guage, Tony's stock is at an alltime low. It is becoming apparent that his putting his stamp on a game is more imortant than winning a game.

His in game managing leaves those in the know scratching their heads.

How about it Razzle, and 10X?

The link below is to a St. Louis Sports radio program where the host talks about LaRussa with the Milwukee reporter that confronted him after the drilling of Braun.

I guarentee you will get a big kick out of this scathing segement.

Scroll down to 8-3-11 Segement 2. It's on page 2. Use the little grey option on the right, not the green one on the left (quicker)
