Reds are facing a 20 year rookie tonight and it seems we realllllllly struggle against pitchers we know nothing about...so what are the odds we get shut out tonight?

If you look at all the MLB teams, you will find that ALL teams struggle against guys who they have little at bats or information/tape on. This isn't just a Reds problem.

Pretty low even against the Stros. I would guess the odds of either team not scoring are about 10%

Odds of a shutout tonight = 5%

Odds that this is a completely useless thread = 100%

I don't think the word is "entertain".

I rank BRM up there with Tony Larussa in the whining department.

It seems this guy has put the theory of unfamiliarity to rest. Dude is 0-6 in 11 career starts, granted he's not getting much run support but as the Gatorade commericals once said..."A win is a win, a loss is a loss."

but the question is, what are the odds???

We are due for another shutout by a poor team: i will give it a decent 45% chance that we get shut out

D-train always gives us a good game but..........the reds somehow screw it up every time

What are you Psychic? Thank goodness Votto was in our line up and Willis or we would have been shut out! How can anybody think if we did make it to the playoffs that we could actually do anything offensively against a quality pitching staff? I'm pretty sure if we played Louisville this team would have a hard time winning a series against them.
