I agree with this. The Stubbs situation is not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I think people expect him to be this great leadoff guy and he doesn't always measure up, but he is a pretty good 7 hole hitter. The strikeouts are certainly bothersome, but all in all his OBP is only 15-20 pts lower than two of the better leadoff men in the league and he is still able to combine his power and speed. Stubbs will bring his avg up to .260 and finish up with 20 some homeruns by season's end. His defense and SB speed also add some very good value. He's definitely frustrating to watch, but he's worth keeping around. Put the money elsewhere
